Project thesis

A direct-reduced-iron platform connecting pellet feed, process energy, shaft-furnace production, product handling and regional or export steelmaking customers.

The 3.0 Mtpa planning basis supports comparison of target countries, coastal sites, technologies, pellet quality, natural-gas and hydrogen pathways, power, water, logistics and carbon intensity. Commercial, permitting, offtake and financing work advances in parallel.

01Ironmaking platform

A 3.0 Mtpa direct-reduction concept connecting pellet feed, process energy, shaft-furnace production, product handling and steelmaking customers.

  • Pellet specification, supply route and storage designed around reducibility, strength, impurities and stable furnace operation.
  • Natural-gas-based direct reduction evaluated with hydrogen-ready provisions and product carbon-intensity objectives.
